Ideally I want to keep mostly live rock, inverts, coral, and 1 or 2 fish; however, I dropped a little over 1,200 on my 55g cichlid tank in the past 4 months. So I want to keep this as cheap as possible for now.
If I keep inverts do I need to use instant ocean sea salt or reef crystal for my water mix? What other chems do I need?
Can I do live sand, live rock, and a few inverts at the very start?
