I have had a green open brain for almost 2 months, i attempt to spot feed but have never seen tentacles, day or night. Does anyone have a pic of what they look like or any ideas. lately it seems to go though alot of inflating a deflating during the day. I don't know if its pulling food from the water column and thats why its not getting more aggresive for food?

I've got a trach and a wellso and I feed them each one silverside weekly- make sure they don't just get muscle tissue- the guts are good for them too. I got my wellso from a local reefer and his fish picked on it so it was very shy at first. Now, it opens up within 45min of turning on my 250MHs and is exposing feeder tentacles within 2 hrs.
Mine seem most eager to feed during the day. They take longer to eat than my bubble coral, candycanes and other LPS- I had to be patient at first! The Trach is really not in a hurry and I have to supervise to be sure my Tang doesn't steal!

When the tentacles are exposed I just stick the fish to them, if they aren't I just place it on or near the mouth- they both will begin to open up once the sense the fish.

Mine deflate and expand constantly- when expelling waste, at night etc....
I've never taken pics of them eating but there is a good pic of the tentacles on this site.
