Hi RC,
I have a green slimer touching orange montipora for a while now. Didn't have any serious problem before, Monti would turned white at the part it touches the green slimer a bit and everything was fine.
This morning, I noticed that half of the monti was turning white, so I break off the monti to move it and save the rest of the coral. I went to work and tonight i found all part of montipora turned white although it is completely separated (luckily i have a frag before everything). Worse yet, my green slimer is turning white at the bottom (much more than the part that was touching the monti). Will it recover or should I start fragging the green slimer to save it? I can't take the picture right now since the light is off and I am afraid that it might get worse overnight.
