like the hawkfish???? which was in the overflow? oh s------t. i did unplug the return, but it won't drain....

My 100 gallon did that once before a snail sucked on where the air flow is and it wouldn't drain but my return pump kept on pumping and made display overflow.

yup...i pulled the pipe out, but not draining...although there is water coming out of the hose into the sump....i do not understand....pretty sure the hawkfish is stuck in the tube...but shouldn't prevent the water from draining out since there is water coming out already...

and now the water is coming through the ceiling in the livingroom.....
didn't bail enough i guess....

Wow that sucks you need to get air going through your pipe to get it draining again if you cant just pull the pipe out stick a air line in if you could . i think that should work

well...i'm an emotional mess right now....indeed...my flame hawk...who i've had forever....went into the overflow...there is a lip inside the overflow that usually keeps her from going down, but allows me to scoop her out...welll....that didn't happen...and she went down the tube...and in order to get things moving again...i don't even want to talk about it...i feel like i'm going to throw up....and i'm crying....but Roc? thank you so much for being there for me tonight....better one fish than the whole tank, right? perspective.

That totally sucks im sorry . i would have called you but my phones are totally died i tried we have 3 cordless and everyone is dead and lost cell phone yesterday. So i take it you got it draining now.
