You have a GBTA that you admit you've been starving for months and stressing out with a too large tomato and you're picking a fight with an established member of this forum?
Yes, travis could have worded his post a little better, but there are situations like yours that would have been easily preventable if you had done your own research instead of believing everything that the LFS guys had told you.

Wouldn't you rather be known as someone that help members out and passes important information on rather than being someone that disheartened a member out of the hobby because of uncalled-for comments.

I think the biggest reason that there are so many "Help!" posts in the forum that are related to BTA's is because they are the most commonly sold and tank kept anemones. Combine that with the LFS's foisting them off on people who really aren't ready for them or don't have adequate tanks for them and you get a lot of "Help!" posts.
I actually greatly appreciate the "Help!" posts because before I got my anemone I read through every single one of the "Help!" posts to learn what not to do.
I also thoroughly read findingnemo's RBTA page and that helped a great lot too!

mine survived in a box for 3 days because of a Fed Ex screw up...I was convinced it would not make it...It was completely deflated...Water was cold, cloudy, and smelly...Long Story Short, it was back in good shape and eating in a couple days...

Yeah, I have bought a deflated, skin ripped BTA and nursed it back to health with little effort. Just had good water quality and good lighting and feed it well. boucned back in a matter of weeks.
