Help - how to stop leak at bulkheads of low profile overflow box

Now I understand how the leak works - must be water going through between the inner surface of the nut and the exterior surface of the bulkhead stem. There is nothing there to stop the water.

Potentially, but also, because the gasket is sticky it makes it hard to correctly tighten the nut. it will seem tight because you cant turn it, but it may not be tight enough to actually seal. when you have the nut on the acrylic or glass surface, its slick and you can get it tighter, pulling the flange on the other side and mating and the gasket it to the surface.

looking awesome! where you get the black valves and unions at?

Well, I painted those with Kryon black spray paint.

By the way, if you use flexible PVC pipe, do not paint. A section of mine is flexible PVC, and the paint does to dry and will come off to stain my skin everytime I touch it.

It is called J Hook Pipe Hanger, sold at lowes.
what kind of hooks are those that's holding ur pvc stable? what are they called and where to get them?
