HELP! I cannot access AquaController

Hi there -
I have an older aquacontroller and the manual display no longer works. I cannot access it through the ethernet interface either. I had the IP written down and have tried that. I have a cable plugged directly from my laptop to the aquacontroller. The ethernet port is yellow on the aquacontroller. I disabled wireless on my pc, and made the IP on the IVP4 to 192.168.1.100 and subnet 255.255.255.0, gateway 192.168.1.1. When I ping i get destination unreachable to 192.168.1.16 and the default 192.168.1.50.

I don't know what to do as I have tried everything I know. two different PCs, 3 different cables, restarted the aquacontroller.

I would be willing to just by a replacement controller interface, but can't seem to find one to buy alone?

I would recommend the neptune systems store. They have the Display module on its own for sale...

Plug the Apex back into your router and download an app called "Fing" to your smartphone. It will map your network out with current IP addresses. Mine shows up as Apex/Nippon Dempa. I did that to find my IP, then went into my router control panel to reserve that IP so it wouldn't change.

I have a feeling this isn't about an Apex but instead the Aqua Controller which was the Neptune controller prior to the Apex.
