i unpluged it to reroute the cord and when i pluged it back up it will not come on. it is brand new(two days old). i have been running it straight with no controller(controller is on the way). i have unplugged it before to feed and i didn't have any problems.

Have you tried opening it up to see if anything is lodged inside? I know it sounds remedial, but have you tried a different outlet? Just a thought..

I know what it is like to try to get something new running and have it not work the way it's supposed to. It can make me freak out a bit. I hope you have a simple fix :) If not.... The great thing about buying Tunze products is no matter what seems to go haywire Roger never seems to leave anyone hanging.

hope you get it worked out..

i have checked and tried everything i can think of. i have read and tried everything in the manual. i hope someone has an idea what it may be.

Do you know if at any point the sump overflowed on to the driver, this is the most common cause of new pump failures. The drivers were not mounted, some maintanence is done and a bit of water enters the driver and shorts it out. Wet hands can also be a culprit. I would suggest swapping the drivers, the manual shows you how to open the drivers and disconnect the pumps, make sure the power is off and see if the pump fires up on the new driver, if it does and the driver was not damaged by water it would be covered under warranty.

i sent you another pm. if it is all the same to you we can continue to discuss this on this thread.
