Hello,
I need help checking if my poor frogspawn was lost to brown jelly.
There was a slimy coat around the head after tissue melted away. Actually the tissue never disintegrated just converted in to this slime. Is is brown jelly disease? If true. What should I do as precaution while adding new LPS and my existing LPS? Any good literature in understanding this disease?

Background:
32g BioCube: Kessil 160
Salinity 1.025
Nitrates:0
Phosphates:0 (Hannah LR)
Ammonia:0
CA: 380
Alk: 8.5 (Hannah)
Mg:1400
Ph: Not known
Temp: 77
Fish: (Clowns, 6 line Wrass, T. Damsels)
No filters except mechanical filtering, No skimmer
Tank is about 3 years old. This frogspawn is also about 3 yrs old.
Story:
My tank was full of nutrients when I used to use natural sea water and lots of hair algae too. Then I stopped using NSW and switched to red sea salt. Over three months or so tank was clean no algae of any kind. Then 3-4 months after my large hammer colony started to shrink and eventually died took about a month of fighting. Also along with it a frags of another hammer, blasto and Acan died with it. Then in few weeks frogspawn colony started to shrink. It still tried fighting for a month or so. I guessed I am running very clean system with no nutrients and started dosing red sea energy and food for corals every day. Frogspawn showed signs of improvement for couple weeks with new baby heads growing faster. Then suddenly it bleached in 2-3 days also less than 24 hours all babies on other head died.
