This slimey fleshy green mass is taking over live rock. It's about 4 in by 3 inch. It's not growing very fast but it is growing. I'm not very fond of it, what is it and how can I remove it?
It doesn't look like Dinoflagelates to me, it might be a Cyano. Cyanos are fragile and will siphon out. Otherwise I don't recognize it as any algae I've seen. Are you sure it's not a sponge?
