I thought it was a Ric as well but I thought Yumas had pimples on their mouths and these are smooth. LFS had listed as something else picked both up for $7.00 a piece. I'll see if I can get some better Pics.

For $7 you can't go wrong, but I think it is a Ricordea florida. It's kind of hard to be entirely sure from the pictures, but it doesn't look like their are "pimples" on/surrounding the mouth of the polyp. From what I understand, R. yumas have pimples on their mouths, while R. florida lacks them. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I can tell by the spacing of the bumps on the last pic that it's a yuma. I would bet on it.

They appear to be just regular mushrooms. Red Discosomas/Actinodiscus. These new pictures clearly prove they are not yumas, or floridia for that matter...

Yeah they are just regular mushrooms...still pretty nice though. The differenc between the first set of pics and the last is huge.

Haha.. i love all the professionals

icy1155- The way the mouth was raised up in his blurry pic it looked more like a yuma than a florida. The better shots don't even look like the same shroom. Make a positive contribution or keep your mouth shut.

shroom changed quite a bit after being in the tank for a few days also. It opened up quite a bit more as well as the difference in the picture quality. I appreciate everyones input right or not this is still the best place for information on our hobby.

Thanks again
