At the time I added him there was no point in QT because this and another Clown from the same tank were the only fish in the tank. They were by themself for 1 month and had no signs of this disease. In fact they seemed normal until 2 days ago. I tried paraguard. It seemed to remove much of the white yucky stuff but the fish died today. I have a few days left of paraguard and am debating weather I should then switch to a copper treatment to try to save the other fish. 1 is showing a slight bit of this stuff behind his eye but seems to be in good health. The others show no signs. It is not practical for me to try to QT them all seperatly at this time. I don't have the tanks, the extra equipment, or the time. I hope to try to treat them all together in the main tank. Best I can do for right now. As I am typing this I am making an offer on a used tank I will use for future QT purposes.
Has anyone found any certain treatment that outshines the others for Brook? All i read is that it comes so fast you can't do anything about it.
