At least I think it's a snail. Kinda moves like a snail.

I found it last night, tanks has been up for about 4 months (46 bow): Inhabitants: 1 (what I though was perc but looks more like Ocell) clown, 1 lawnmower blenny, 1 orange mushroom that refuses to attach to anything.

Maybe Collonista? I had those before (got everywhere, jacked up my impeller) but this looks much darker and larger.

I'd like to keep them under control this time. I was leaning toward getting a puffer anyway. If I let them build up a bit and add a Valentini, that would handle it yes?

Not sure about the puffer, but I have to throw in my two cents here and say how much I love have a lot of these guys. They hide during the day for the most part, and at night, come out and clean every nook and cranny of my rock. I'd keep them. If the algae gets drops to levels that can't support them, the population will decrease on its own.

How large it is, colonista snails are tiny, like a pin head. If it is larger than that, it might be a young trochus snail.

I have a lawnmower too and I don't want him starve. Plus, like I said, they got EVERYWHERE last time.

It is larger and darker than the collinstias I had before
