Help ID!

Sorry guys, but no pics of the little guy/gal. The mantis is 1 inch or less, green and has very unique eyes. It doesnt have the checkerboard like P. ciliata does, but it has horizontal(i think) lines going through its eyes. any smashers that have these kinds of eyes?

Check my stomatopod ID gallery - Roy's List. It sounds like Chorisquilla tweediei.

The id doesnt match up at all, the tail is like that of any other gonodactylus species that is on your id page. He/she is also green and only has one smasher, but the heel of the smasher is a white violit color

So I am confused. You said there were horizontal lines. Unless you are simply seeing the mid-band that all stomatopods have, the only stomatopods that I can think of that have two or more stripes running through the eye are Chorisquilla.

Since the telson is gonodactylid like, Chorisquilla is eliminated.
