I need some help identifying this LPS. Any and all ideas on what it could be are welcome

I almost forgot to add that it has sweepers that are about 4 inches long and the coral ist about three inches.

Thanks you guys for the tries but in the photo the coral is not inflated. When this coral inflates the valleys overcome and become larger then the ridges.

Color isn't going to help ID this one. We need a clear picture of the coral. Something for size comparison would also be helpful. Is that a Turbo snail next to it?

Yes that is a turbo snail, and this is the only other pic I have (I am borrowing a camera again tomorrow to take more pics) the coral is about 3-3 1/2 inch diameter and 1 1/2-2 inches tall.

I do not know where it was collected. My lfs had it in their "discount" tank and they didnt even know what it was.

The pics are blurry but you may want to check out some info. about different Pectinia species. Some of them exhibit similar morphology to that guy.

Thanks everyone I think I might have finally figured it out (with a lot of help from you guys)
Pectinia africanus
The only difference between it and mine is the ridges on mine are not spiny.

that is why it is away from everything else (I was lucky at the LFS it had them out so I knew the amount of distance it needed). by the way nice acans on your home page.
