plz help me identify this anemonea. i think its a purple long tentacle. it is as you see purple and has an orange/red foot. i got a mated pair of yellow stripe maroon clowns which are already setting up home in him. just wanting to know when and what to feed. he is about 9" to 11" in diameter

You're absolutely right, Macrodactyla doreensis, commonly known as LTA.

I feed my purple lta pieces of scallop, raw shrimp or silversides once a week. Some times I feed it once every two weeks. The most part of its diet is what ever it can catch when I feed the pink skunk clowns. Yours looks alot like mine Did you get it online, local fish store or local reefer?

i got it from a lfs but they're only open 4 days a week. n i got it without asking much about it i got it for a good deal
