help Identifying these...

Hey guys, i was wondering if someone could help me identify these "cup" looking things that are on the same rock as these green mushrooms. Apparently these been like there for months without any change. Inside the cups are green and they do close up when agitated. I hope these pictures are good enough

Thanks dragon, what do they look when they arent angry? He said theyve been exactly like that for months and doesn't remember them being there before that. Everything else in his tank is thriving!

They look like green Rhodactis mushrooms. Definitely not Palythoa (Button Polyps).

yea button polyps can spring outta nowhere sometimes. You bring them home from the fish store and you dont even know it!

they look like theses when not angry.... pretty much like zoas but with a longer neck
these are mine after 1 and 1/2 years, started with a few like you have there.
