Help identifying what this might be??

Can anyone please tell me what this is?? I spotted it on my glass and it's moving really slow.

if you have any coral, i recommend getting rid of the little guy... i've heard that they like to eat corals!

not all asterinas are coral munchers... that one looks harmless... they do graze algae.
i wouldn't worry .

I'd remove the starfish as well.

Until somebody can distinguish the good Asterina starfish from the bad ones without a doubt, I'll continue to treat them all as bad. :thumbdown

And they grow to plague proportions.

When I finally started learning about how some of them are bad, I ended up taking over 300 out of our 75 gallon tank.

I started with 7 two years earlier.

I still occasionally find one a month that I need to get rid of.
I do it as soon as I see it.
