Help, is my anemone dying or splitting?

I'm not sure what my anemone is doing. I've had it for a week now and it's been moving around the tank and it finally found a spot that it liked on the glass and has been there for a couple days. I looked at it this morning and It had a hole all the way through it, but now it's closed up. I didn't want to throw it away if it wasn't dying and just splitting, please help.

Oh thank goodness, I was afraid that the poor thing was dying.

no iv'e lost a bta do to it being in poor shape...it looked nothing like that when starting to die...it lost color and stared to breakdown and give off a slime
