help: kh ca mg solution

why is my kh solution "gassy"?
why is my ca solution yellowish, with detritus?
should i be concern?

any negative effect if i dose all 3 back to back?

You don't want to dose them right on top of one another. The alk will precipitate the other two. Make sure one dose has a chance to mix into the tank good before adding another.

You mixed five spoons? How did you get the spoon to dissolve? Oh you mean spoonfulls of something. Of what? its hard to help if we don't know what you've made.

i mean 5 spoon full of

NaHCO3 with 1l of distilled water(left bottle)
CaCl with 1l of distilled water(mid bottle)
MgCl2 with 1l of distilled water(right bottle)

was good after mixing, but turn "gassy"(left bottle), yellowish with detritus(mid bottle) after a few days

Check out this link for a good recipe for what you are trying to do. There is a surprising amount of math to think about here. Fortunately it has been done for us.

What grade was the CaCl2? Was it the driveway stuff?

The gas in the bicarb solution is nothing to worry about. It could be air or a little CO2 if the water was a little low pH.
 
so its normal for kh solution to be gassy?

how about my ca solution? is it normal?
the detritus dissolve when i pour out the ca solution to another bottle

my cacl is flakes type, lab grade

I don't know if it's normal, but I wouldn't worry about it. The calcium solution shouldn't be dark like that. Was the bottle good and clean? The precipitate you see in there might just be from it not all dissolving. You generally have to shake it pretty good. BTW 5 tsp per liter is not a good measure. Read the article about how much alk to calcium and magnesium. Making the solutions is easy, but you need to get the right measurements.
 
If you make the solutions according to the recipe in the link, then you just dose equal amounts. There is also a link in there for a calculator to figure how much to add for a certain level. There are two recipes. If your pH is running low, use the first one, if your pH runs high, use the second one.
