I got a longnose hawkfish two days ago and he's still not eating frozen brine. I thought they were easy to feed. Any suggestions?

I've found that starting with live brine while in quarantine and then moving to frozen meaty foods works well (frozen brine, Hikari mysis, and also cyclopseze). You just don't want to give only live foods too long as the animal will end up wanting only that (sometimes live brine are described as "candy for fish"). The purpose of the live food is to stimulate the feeding response so that the animal will try to take similar looking / smelling food that isn't moving (i.e. enriched frozen brine). Once the animal is eating frozen foods, you can try not feeding them for a day (so they are hungry and looking for food) and then give them some flakes or pellets to see if they will go after that.

As the hawks are fairly heavy bodied predatory fish, they'll be OK for a few days without food (presumably you saw it eat in the store before purchasing?).
