Anyone who can help will definitely appreciate it.
Need an expansion socket powerbar like this one.

Apparently none of the retailers have it laying around and it needs to be special order from Germany.
If anyone has one laying around not being used please let me know.
Thank you

Hey BigAl, I have a question about that powerbar that doggydoc posted. How does it switch? I ask because I have my return pump plugged into a UPS back up and would like to be able to set it up on a feed pause. So does it plug into a a powerbar to switch or is it a pab device. Obviously I want to keep my return pump plugged into the UPS for power failure backup but still have the ability to feed pause. And the other choice is to plug the powerbar into the UPS but it will only run the powerbar equipment for maybe 20 minutes if I just have the return pump plugged into the UPS I get about 65 minutes. Granted my return is a Reeflo Hammerhead so I don't get much time but it works for the outages we encounter. Max about 3 hours. I actually looked at generators today but you have to be home to put them to use. And a whole house with transfer switch is out of the question at this time.

The expansion socket is switched by plugging into a GHL power bar socket, the 110v from that socket acts as a signal to the expansion socket telling the expansion to turn on or off.

The expansion then gets its supply power from an independent wall socket in doing so providing a safe energy draw for single high amp devices.

So then if power goes off regardless if the expansion socket is plugged into a UPS the pump plugged into the expansion socket shuts down. Do I understand that correctly?

Sorry for the delay Kevin. I didn't see this new post.

Yes if your ProfiLux loses power it would also lose connection to the powerbar through the 1-10v interface and thus power off the powerbar. In theory if your whole system were on a UPS you would not lose pump action. The powerbar AND ProfiLux would both have to be on UPS and even then I would test it to make sure everything works as planned.
