help me decide what fish to get

I have a fluval spec 5 saltwater tank, and was thinking a goby/pistol shrimp combo, but have been reading so many horror stories of gobies jumping out of tanks, so I am a little nervous of getting one. I need some other ideas of small fish I can put in my fluval spec 5 that aren't gobies. I just ordered a ledtric par 38 bulb, and am getting a HOB refugium in the next 2 weeks, the tank just finished cycling but is still empty, so now planning my future fish as I finish getting all the upgrades.

One of my favorite fish is the ORA cleaner gobies, they stay small and have quite the little personality. They aren't jumpers either

As long as there is enough room for the inhabitants you should be good.

Do note the smaller the tank, the harder, the rule of thumb is 1inch per 5 gallons so naturally we're going to over stock small tanks like this making matters worse.

As far as fish jumping just cover it.. use a plastic lid or something to cover it without blocking light.

sexy shrimp. and a small goby. lots of little gobies to choose from, why do you specifically want to avoid gobies?

He is worried about them jumping out.

Just cover the tank no big deal really.. gobies are like the only fish I can think of other than some small nano shrimps and dwarf seahorses for a tank of your size.

gobies are known to jump the most. hector's i believe are hard to keep alive. tailspot blennies are the best fish. tons of personality.
