Help me design my tank around a flame angel

Empty Bottles

I really want a flame angel and a LPS dominate mixed tank. If I had to choose between the two I'd choose the LPS though. Here are the corals/inverts I want to keep:
Hammer
Frogspawn
Torch (already in tank)
wellso
Ricordeas (already in tank)
favia (already in tank)
Lobo (already in tank)
Zoas (already in tank)
Monti
Birdsnest
Duncan
Blasto
Acan
Clams
Toadstool
Trumpet (already in tank)
scoly
Fox Coral

Which of these would be at the highest risk and what corals did I not mention that would be a pretty safe bet with a dwarf angel?

I think it's a roll of the dice. Some people get lucky and have a flame that is a model citizen, others are not lucky. I had a flame in a small reef tank (40 gallons). For the first couple months, everything was fine. Then it started as a pick here on the leather coral, then a pick there on the zoanthids. A month after I noticed, he was relentlessly hitting hammer coral, zoas, leather, bubble coral, clam mantle, etc. I can't speak for sps, but as far as softies and LPS, my tank didn't fair so well and he had to go to keep the reef.

I don't trust Flames or Lemon Peels in a reef. Others like Argi, are much better IMHO. You kinda have to ask yourself, which you want more- a small coral reef or a flame angel that destroys certain corals as you go.

I want a small coral reef, but I was really hoping I could build around a flame. I've read they prefer LPS, but I was really hoping they'd stay away from euphylia. They're my favorite coral. I guess I'll keep to the original plan and not have a centropyge.

I got two flame angels in my two tanks and they have never bother any corals. I have sps, Lps, zoas and clams. As long as they r well fed, very unlikely they will bother inverts. Nothing is guarantee of course.

If the angel decides to go rogue, LPS/meaty corals would make a good meal for him. So keep this in mind. There is no guarantee the angel wont go after corals.

speaking from experience, i have had 2 flames in two different mixed reefs and never a problem....i'm about to do a third with about 50 different corals!!!
