Dear All,
I have my hammer corals for about 3 weeks now and as I am just a newbies for LPS, so I am having my hammer and torch as a "guiness pig" to try if I can be succeeded before adding more corals.
my hammer has just die off from one of its branch and I have observed that another branch beneath it is also seems to be not expanding like the rest. I have observed that if I open both halides (150watt each) then the said branch will some how expand but not as much as others.....is this means this one is going to die soon? please help me diagnosed if this is the lights or water parameter. by the way, my water param as of last night :
KH----8 DKH
CA ---400 PPM
NO3 --0.5 TO 1 PPM (SALIFERT)
PO4 ---0.16 PPM (HANNA)
MG ----1350 PPM
here is the photos:
1) with 150 watt halides running
2) with 2 x 150 watt halides running for 6 hours
cheers,
