Help me find a spot in my tank for clam.

I am upgrading my tanks lighting from 440 watts of VHO , to two 175 watt MH and leaving two of the VHO for supplemental actnic.
I have a Squamosa clam on the sand bed that has not been doing great , was getting picked at by a LNB that is no longer in the tank. But I would like to add a maxima or a crocea , but I don't know if I have the room to put one. Here is a pic of my tank where would you put one or two of these clams?

in ur gallery, photo grama0002,it looks like there might be 2 spots, one just above the trumpet, and the other just to the right of the trumpet, btw nice shots

beautifull tank, give them a try on the sand bed where the clam is at the moment, you might find the mh make all the difference

The problem with the sand bed is that the open section in the center area there is always shifting from my seaswirls, the sand does not stay even, it always gets moved to the right and left. That is why I have that flat rock on the bottom near the anenome , with the snail on it, there would never be sand there , just blown down to the glass from the seaswirls.

The ACro and the pink birds nest on the left side of tank just died over a two day period, rtn? ANyway , now i have an are for two clams. What is the best way to get them to attach to the rockwork? Should I place a rock on the sand then move the rock to the ledge after the clam attaches or just place the clam on the ledge? How do you get the clam to angle properly to the rock, build up rubble rock around the rock, then remove the rubble once the clam attaches?

Just got my clams finished being acclimated here they are in the tank, hope they stay where I put them.
How long till they attach themselves?
