help me fix my oversight

Oversight or undersight im not sure. on my return line from my sump im T-ed off the 1 inch line to two 1/2 inch lines which i capped and drilled holes to spread out return water, flow is great. However chateo has entered the line and clogged the lower holes making higher pressure to the first holes. anyone know of a way i could fix this without cutting the PVC.

I don't know of any way to fix it but to cut the PVC. I don't glue the pipe inside my tank so I can remove it for cleaning

I would recommend replacing that section of piping and NOT gluing. This will allow for easier removal for cleaning. Also some type of barrier to keep chaeto away from this piping would be great. Maybe a sponge that's easily removed for rinsing.
