I've heard when stressed they tend to not be very yellow. That is the main reason that I didn't get one. I really wanted a very yellow fish so I got the Golden Midas Blenny.

It looks very thin, how much are you feeding it? It also probably would be a good idea to treat your DT for worms in the fish. Google PraziPro and also search it here. Great dewormer and it's totally reef safe.

I say this because if your YWG is eating he very well could have intestinal worms.

I feed daily. Either reed plankton, flake, or live bbs. He seems to eat fine. Based on your comments , I should be able to treat the entire DT with PraziPro. No QT required?

imo your not feeding well. plankton is more for filter feeders, flakes dont have a very good reputation, and live bbs can quickly lose all nutritional value. why not get some frozen mysis or something?? i think it would help every fish

I use frozen mysis and cyclops also, but not as regularly. I also raise the brine shrimp and gut load them with selcon. But. I will use more mysis. Thanks.

It's a Yellow Watchman Goby... I purchased one about a month ago... It's was yellow in color but for some strange reason it changes 2 a grayish sandy pale looking color during night time or when I turn my lights off...I thought mine was sick but apparently it's fine...

Yes you can just treat your DT with PraziPro and it's totally safe for everything in your tank

Doesn't sound like you're feeding enough and enough of the right foods. I would primarily feed NLS pellets and frozen Mysis shrimp. What you're feeding holds no nutritional value.

What would this stuff do to bristleworms? Could a heavy bristleworm population die off and nuke the tank?

I just used this in my display twice this week. I haven't noticed anything have an issue. Make sure to turn off your skimmer, stop running carbon & uv during treatment.
