I have these two odd looking things in my tank and would like some kind of identification for them.
This one is a snail but doen't seem to have a shell. The shell on it is somewhat like a half of a clam.

This one looks like a stalk of a mushroom, or toadstool leather. I just noticed it growing under my rock today. It moves quite a bit with good control of movement. Can't get a real close up for some reason, pictures keep coming out blurry. This is the best I could do.

#1 is a stomatella snail. They are good for your tank.

#2 looks like a feather duster to me ... does it have an opening in the end or is it solid? I also have some snake polyps that look similar to that. Does it move around in location or stay in one spot? Does it change shapes?

The base stays in one spot ( at least for the past few hours), does not have feather at the end of it. I have quite a few feather dusters in my tank(small, not the size you buy at the LFS). This one is about a little more than 1/4 inch in diameter, so its pretty big. Every once in a while it would bend and move, when it lengthen it would shrink in size then come back to what it would look like in the picture. I will keep an eye on it to see if it changes at all.

the bottom picture appears to me very similar to a creature I had in my tank for several years, except mine was alternating white and black stripes. the thing I had was like a "rock worm". the base stayed in one spot but it would extend out like a long worm to grab small bits of food, then retract back into itselflike a slinky. the one I had was pretty cool and never hurt anything

Your second one could be a Sipunculid, otherwise known as a Peanut Worm. They don't have feathers like a fan worm, but instead have a tentacle-bearing retractible snout that they can extend to pick up food. They are good to have in your tank, another benficial detritivore.

I've witnessed one of those black and white striped worms bigdaddyadam described, grab a tiny blue leg hermit and couldn't pull into it's hole. Just held onto him for a few days. Then dropped the empty shell. Still a cool looking critter, but seems to be indescriminate feeder.
