help me justify new lighting

i have a 4 bulb current t5 fixture for a 75g tank but i hear there will be a lot of sps i cant keep. if i get the 4 bulb ati sunpower would i be able to keep any kind of sps or would i need a 6 bulb for that? i rule out the tek because after the legs and shield it is nearly the same price.

the 4-bulb ati sunpower over a 75 would allow to keep any sps with proper placement. if u dont like that, get the 6-bulb sunpower. i hv the 6-bulb sunpower and even the sps near the bottom of the tank r thriving.

That's all the justification for a new light I would need right there.



I would go with a 6 bulb unit. FWIW, the Tek Elite 48" 6 bulb is about $120 cheaper than the ATI Sunpower 48" 6 bulb at reefgeek.

well after the shield and the legs the difference wont really be all that much. thanks for the input guys, now i just have to sell it to my bro so i will only have to pay for half the fixture/blubs
