All right I have a profilux ex with a 6 and 4 socket power bar, I have had this thing for months and have only been using it as a ph monitor. It is time to make it fully functional. I have 4 400 w mh and 4x54 t5's and 4x110 vho's. I was thinking about adding 2 of the high amp expansions to the mix for the mh's. what do I need to make this all work? can they all be daisy chained together? the controller is about 10-15 feet from the ballasts. I want to use the 6 outlet power bar near the controller, that is where my kalk, calcium reactor, heaters, fans ect... are at. Then I want to use the 4 outlet power bar with the expansions were the ballasts are.

Hi, your 6 socket plugs into S1-S4 and your Analogue into S5-S8 they can't be daisy chained together.

High Amps are controlled by plugging them into the sockets on a power bar.

If you want to control your 4 way 10-15 away from your Profilux go ahead and add a VSL5 cable to your shopping list and you are all set.
The high Amps are controlled by the 4 way power bar, & you should have a seperate power supply(wall socket) for the high Amps.

oh so you have to use a socket up on one of the power bars for the expansions, that kind of sucks. I guess I will just skip the expansions for now.

You can use an additional 6 socket power and have your lighting dedicated to that, providing you dont go over the 13amp rule.

if you get close to this then add a high amp
