I am beginning the process of building a plywood aquarium 96"x36"x24" and I've been pricing parts and equipment. Now my biggest question would be what kind of epoxy sealer should i use. I've seen a 2 part concrete sealer at HD and lowes. would something like that work? anyone have opinions or facts about different sealers that you could share? Thanks

I suggest you read the West System bulletin on wood tank building. It makes a lot of good points. In my opinion, a wood tank should be a tank, not a wood box with water in it so I followed West System pretty closely.

Search this forum. There have been some very nice tanks built out of wood. Don't miss the build by Fudge. He is the master as far as I'm concerned (not to take away from others).
