Hello,

Sadly, after 20ish years i am having to restock my reef with fish because of a nasty crypt. outbreak. Here is a video of my tank as is right now!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jByEnv6vX1k

As you can see no fish just a lot of corals that have been happy for a long time. Only good news is now I get to do it the right way (with a QT) and pick the exact fish I want -NO IMPULSE BUYS!! I have always failed at this in the past but am really going to try hard this time.

I know I want these species:

percula clown pair- maybe a hybrid
Flame angel
radiant wrasse.

Other than that what do you guys think I should add for color and character? Thanks for the suggestions!!

On the restock I'm not going to be much help. I always love a nice looking tang in a reef tank. What size tank is it?

My thing I was going to say is make sure you keep the tank fishless for 3 months to be really safe and sure that there is no more ich surviving in the tank.

Depends on the size of your tank, which your forgot to mention! ;-)

However, assuming you have a 40-55 judging from the video...

Here are some options..

Flame Angel
Anthias pair or trio (but be careful with tank size as they need room to swim around)
Dottyback (neon, orchid)
Basslets (Gold Assesor, Royal Gramma)
Tang - depending on tank size (yellow, sailfin)
Blue Spot Jawfish
Pair of Percula clowns or Gold stripe Maroon clown

Tank is a 90 gallon tank with a 20 gallon refugium. Looking for some interesting fish that would add character and color like anthias or gobies and blennies- Thanks for the suggestions and hope to get more!!

I'd recomend a tail spot blenny. Tons of personality, real fun to watch. Also, any type of fairy wrasse. Maybe a liniatus or a couple flames?

I would suggest asking your LFS if they can order you a pair of royal grammas. They would have a field day in your tank. It's perfect for them.
