It seems to me that most of the anemone web sites or threads that I could find were of BTA's. I think that it would be nice to get a compilation of Sebae stories and pics into one thread to help out new Sebae owners. I think it should go something like this....
My name is ______ i bought this Heteractis Crispa three months ago. Here is a picture of when I got it _____, I put it under ______ lighting and fed it _______, ________ times per week. Here is a recent picture showing its incredible recovery/ or my anemone couldnt be saved, it shrivled up and died in a week. (If you bought a specimen that was in perfect health you could mention where so that others could buy there too)
I think it would also be cool to mention other specifics about the tank, like size, turnover, refuge/ no refuge, filteration, inhabitants, clowns hosting/ no clowns hosting.
In doing this, maybe we could find out which type of setup is the best recipe for success. Also what percent of this species is being purchased bleached or dyed, and also what is the survival rate of a bleached or dyed specimen. We could also get a general idea of how long on average it takes one of these guys to recover from the stress of shipping and handling, and whether the LFS is your best option, or ordering on line.
Give me some responses, if anyone is interested I could thow together a "survey form" and if we were to compile enough info I could put it all together on some sort of website for ease of use.
Thanks
Krys
Also, I am currently working with a bleached Crispa that I will be posting updated pictures and info on as soon as enough time passes.
