Just set up a 25 cube for my gf please help me fill her wish list. It's an open top so no jumpers like wrasses and dartfish. Nemo is already on her list :hmm5: Thanks!
I would say Dwarf Seahorse, smaller tanks make it easier to keep them, as they are slow and need a LIVE food source. I believe the scientific name for them is H. Zorinae, don't quote me on the name though, I may be wrong!
sixline wrasse. Cool looking functional fish that's always cruising the tank. Not much of a risk for jumping and even if it did take a leap it's a $15 fish.
I'd like to add a flame angel but as mentioned my tank is a tad too small for one, I'm afraid.
A seahorse could be in the mix however they need daily feeding so that's a big drawback.
As for sandshifter goby I'm getting a Hi fin goby.
Really want a six line but they're jumpers. Some folks claimed their 6 line wrasse are very low risk jumper while other have said otherwise. Can someone add to this?
GA are very nice but too pricey for a nano ;0)
An Rbta is a must IMHO.
purple firefish, lots of color and graceful swimmer. i wouldn't go near a seahorse until you have more experience under your belt. you could also go with a cherub angel.
Cardinal fish are cool and great for a nano! Some fish are more prone to jumping, but all fish can jump. Maybe build a cheap DIY top? If you do, you'll have more options (firefish, flasher wrasse . . . etc).
