Help me to acclimate please !

I had some SPS under 3 95w PC bulbs, and now I am acclimating them to my new dual 400w fixture in a new tank. I have the fixture raised to about 2' over the water line, My corals are on the bottom of the tank. I have been slowly raising the photoperiod up from about an hour & a half, now I'm at about 2 hours. My question is what order should I do things in ? In other words should I move the corals up to where I want them first, then increase the photoperiod, then lower fixture? What is the best order to do this? Can you do all of these at the same time? I'm probably being a little over cautious, but I don't want to bleach anything! Any advice is appreciated !

I started my lightlovers on top of the rock layer about 16 inches from the 250's and my light sensitives on the bottom about 20+ inches down. I increased my photoperiod from 2, first week, to 4, second week, to 8 third week, and came out just fine. My corals: lightloving---candy cane, ac. yongei, ac. cerealis; sensitives: pocillopora, stylophora, button polyps, frogspawn. If you see a zoo vomiting brown stuff, it's got too much light, and is shedding its microflora. I don't know what any of these do, over-lighted, because the problem hasn't come up. Hope that helps some.
