Help me with the lighting

I just put together a 30g tank connect to my main display tank sump, is the 65W PC enough to keep Zoas? it's a 30" long 18" height and 12" deep, righ now I only have one 65W and I keep them about 6" off the bottom on a rack. Should I get another 65W PC? I aready have one 65W so I don't want to spend ton of money on the T5 fixture

You ok but you won't get the best color nor best growth and could probably bleach from not getting too much light. I'd go with T5's/MH's or especially a combo ( MH/T5s for supplement )

I have MH/T5 on my 120g, this will be my Zoas frag or zoa dominate tank. This will be a good test for me I will able to see the grown different on my main tank and the 30g, they plump to the same sump so the only different is the light,

The lowest type lighting I would do on zoa would be T5s.

I had a 2x 65 watt PC fixture over a 20 long and a 29 gallon tank. Obviously the growth was better in the 20 long due to the penetration of light, but they also were/are fine in a 29 gallon, they just grow very slow and tend to be way less colorful no matter how high up you put them. I switched to T5s and the colors are amazing and the growth is much faster.

I just order the 30" T5 2x24w I think it's enough light for it, one 65W and a 2*24W T5
