This afternoon , my yellow tail tammarin jumped out of the tank , about 5 minutes , after i put him back into the tank , he lay there and breathing , then he can swim like normal , but he stressed so the hermit crab tries to eat him and make it worse , now his eyes is slightly cloudy and he was not able to burry him self , please help , he is the cutest one in the tank and he spits water to me every time i feed him :sad1:

If easily caught, I would catch him and put him in QT for a few days. Put a bowl of sand in the bottom for him to get into if he wants.

If you do not currently have a quarantine set up, you could get a plastic or net breeder box and put him in there. Also I would turn the lights out for a few days.

I hope he pulls through!

Definitely separate him, I'd run to Petsmart and pick up a net breeder if I were you. They usually run somewhere around $5-10 and you can just suction cup it to the side of the tank, at the surface and that will keep him safe from the scavengers and aggressive fish in the tank, without having to put him through the stress of catching him and moving him to another tank. This is what I'm talking about ...

... Good luck with him, I sincerely hope he pulls through!

If the room temp is about the same as your tank temps. Just use a 5 gallon bucket with an air stone as a QT. Be sure to have some sort of lid to keep it from jumping out. I use this method for the tank transfer method of curing ich.

You can also put him in the sump with a small tupperware of sand...

Put him in a section where the water flow isn't too much, and there are no motors, skimmers, etc...
