Not sure if I can mix male and females? Right now i think i have a female and looking to get more lyretail? What more of should I buy

add small females...if you don't have a male, you will in a few weeks/months

Jarrett get a trio or more either one male and smaller females or all females and one will turn male...the reason for the two or more females is because they will split the harassing attention they will get from the male.
