I see some very small white looking bugs on the montipora. I read the post then I looked It my monti and say the bugs. what do you think?

Bleaching and tissue loss are two different things. Which one is it? Bleaching is almost always due to temperature swings or too much light. Due to the hardiness of montis in general tissue loss is usually due to nudis or some other predator like a fish or crab. From your pic its hard to make anything out so I wont even try, but it doesn't look like bleaching as that thing is actually browned out and full of zooxanthellae.

Better picture time

Montipora are pretty hardy and I don't think I've had one show signs of what we'd call RTN/STN unless it was a fresh piece or I forgot to return it to the tank after fragging.

Impossible to tell from the picture for sure but from what I can see I'd say it came in contact with another coral and lost or it has the nudibranch. Remove it from the tank and use a hand lens to inspect the underside. I find it best to do that inspection in a small container full of SW so the nudibranch stays inflated.

Flip that puppy over and look for nudis, the splotchy nature of it makes me think nudis but i recently had some montis go bogus for no reason.

They usually prey on the bottom of the coral during the day, if you dont see anything funny then take a turkey baster and blast it out real good on the underside, they cant hold on in super strong current. If they are there you will see them.

These are prior to any treatments and are actually being raised for test treatment.

Theyre testing prazipro now as a dip. Check the list of threads here and it will be there. You might have to go a page or two.

I tried that and don't think it kills the eggs.
