I have 150 gallon Tall being delivered next weekend.
I need suggestions on moving it down a narrow stairway to my basement.
The tank weighs somewhere between 350 & 400 lbs.
Thanks
Mike

Have the same tank, I had 3 buddies come help me move it! with 3 of us it wasn't to bad, we tried it with 2 guys but it was a bear to maneuver it around!

Could also rent a furniture dolly from uHaul. Strap the thing in, attach a long strap or two, and have a buddy help SLOWLY slide it down the stairs.

Thanks for the suggestions.
Won't be able to use the cups going down the stairs.
Tanks to heavy as mikem said for 2 guys. Not enough room.
I like the furniture dolly/straps idea. That should work out well for my situation.

Ow. Get a refrigerator dolly, strap it in gingerly, enough to restrain, not enough to crack glass, lay the dolly on its back on the steps, and use ropes and a stout anchor at the top to ease the dolly down step by step by the use of strong ropes well under control. Anybody in front of it, should hold position to the side of the stairs, not in front of the tank. they could be seriously injured if the thing gets out of control. Make SURE the rope and its anchoring point can take the weight, and agree in advance, no single-handed heroics if it slips control.
