Help-mushroom removal

I would like to know if there is a safe way to remove mushrooms from a rock? The frilly green mushrooms are really aggressive and trying to take over my tank! They are on a really nice large rock that I would like to keep if possible. Any ideas??

Take a razor blade and scrape them off the rock, you'll likely have some grow back but it shouldn't be too bad. After you get them off the rock, you can attach them to some rubble and trade them with other people or get store credit for them at your lfs.

Thank you both very much. You were a big help.
I'm going for the method where, hopefully, they won't grow back.

Haven't had time to get it done this week so going to get it done this weekend. Will keep you posted on the results.

FINALLY got it done!
I first got on some surgical gloves-very important :) I took the rock and put it in a large bowl and added some tank water to it. I used to water to keep the mushrooms wet. Then I took a screw driver and found I could "pop" off the majority of the muchrooms because the rock was soft enough. Some mushroom's were harder. I used the screw driver and tapped it with the hammer and they came right off then. I then did a close inspection with a magnifying glass, didn't want ANY left I did have a couple of small pieces to go back and do. I was surprised at how easy it was. Saved my nice rock too :)
