moongoddesss007, this is what I would do if it was my fish. You know everyone has their way, but this is what has worked for me. I hope he is doing better.
Oh man moongoddesss007 I'm very sorry, you tried your best and that's what counts. From it all the most important thing is you really learned a lot. From the QT setup to medication and that's invaluable. Very sorry - you did an excellent job.
I am so sorry ... I remember when I had a cichlid (Charlie) in a QT because the other fish was beating him up. He got a lot better. and then we went to my mother in law for a night and the next day my fish was dead .. the filter had stopped working ....
Sadly enough after all your help and all we tried to do in saving him, my favorite little man, Lenny, didn't make it and so most of my Sunday morning was spent in a puddle of tears.
I honestly think in the end I should have left him be as I think the stress of chasing him out of the tank is what did it, but I guess I'll never know.
