help my perc.

I have had two true percs for about 3 weeks now and they have been doing fine. All of a sudden one of them is now staying in the front bottom corner and looks like he will be dead in an hour but when I move closer he comes to life and starts swimming with the other one just fine. He's got some white mucus barley visible almost like a slime. I was almost about to uthinize him a few minutes ago but he did it again, jumpe up and became normal again. I don't think he will make the night.

Read up on Brook. Its anenomne fish disease. you need to do fresh water dips with formaline and it sounds like you need to do them fast. most fish feel much better after the dips, thats when you feed them, I soak the food in antibiotics. and over feed.

You real should read up tonite and do it tommorow. you cant really "cure" it , only give your fish the best chance to fight it off. Your fish has a good chance of beating it.
