Help! My purple stylopora

I've had this stylopora for a while and it has been doing great but lately for a couple weeks it has been loosing color and polyps have not been opening. All my perimeters are fine. Can anyone help

do a water change everyday and test nitrates. I find that sometimes some untestable or magic weird thing happens to our tanks. no idea why something is being weird but a few quick water changes and everything is right as rain (unless you don't have enough nitrates).

How about more details as in what are your water parameters? Fine tells us nothing

Alkalinity 9.5 magnesium 1400 calcium 430 nitrates 0 ammonia 0 phosphates 0 ph 8.15

If you're po4s and nitrates are zero then I'm assuming it's starving to death.

Do you feed your corals anything besides light?

Mine usually starts to have problems with low alkalinity, I would test again to make sure your results are accurate and if they are, I would agree that it is likely due to not enough nitrate and phosphate

Funny that beginning reefers are told that 0 nitrates and phosphates are the way to go. So they add all the chemical they can to get it down to that level just to screw up the ecology of their system.
