Ok that's a bit of an exaggeration but still. I brought in a sea hare about a month ago to clean up some GHA. It was about two inches long by maybe 3/4 inch diam. I saw it a couple of weeks ago and it might have been a little bigger but not much. Algae is disappearing in trails so I knew it was still around although it blends in with the rock so well it can be hard to find. Tonite I found it on the glass and its about 5 inches long and 3 inches diam!! Does anyone know if that's weird? Can they puff up with water and magically grow? I know they only eat GHA and planned to take it back to the LFS eventually so it can go to a new home and won't starve, but it's freaky big and I would love to hear anyone's experience with these interesting animals.
