HELP!!! my tang is broken

so yesterday I noticed what looked like a bone sticking out of my tangs tail
today it's on both sides of the smallest part of his tail and has a small scratch down one side of his body.
can't get a pic so I tried to take some videos but yeah not to good.

yesterday--

and then today both sides has it, it looks like bone its a translucent spike on each side, he has been swimming more/faster around the tank and going up to the glass and flapping his injury on it..... he is eating.

any ideas on what I should do? if it is bones sticking out then how would I fix it or help the fish?
