help...naso mouth fungus

my naso appears to have a mouth fungus...white tufts all over the lips. I've read a bunch of controversial stuff online about meds that dont work...what do you all reccomend??

Does the white stuff you see over the lips also shows on the body? Do you think it might be an ich? Ich is a very common parasite on tangs. If not threated your tang can die.

no, just on the mouth...like peeling layers of skin flaking off of the lips...

Fungus is usually white with a velvety or even hairy appearance. It is most likely to be found on the mouth, eyes, or tips of the fins. Does this fit the description of the fungus you see on your tank? Ones I have this same infection on my blue tank. What I did was QT my tang and threated it with mardel marcyn for sw. Make sure you follow their instruction for threating.
