Help!! Need a skimmer part

The mesh wheel in my SWC Xtreme 160 finally shredded itself. Anyone know where I can purchase another one other than the SWC website?!? They want $13 for shipping and it will take 2-4 weeks or $23 for 10 days. I can deal with the price but don't want to be without a skimmer that long. I'm hoping someone knows of a source local or even in the USA.

If you can determine the brand and model of the pump itself, I'm sure a google search would get you what you want. Most of the big vendors (premium aquatics, aquacave, marine depot, etc) carry replacement parts for most of the common skimmer pumps.

Agreed. Don't forget Champion Lighting and Supply, they have a lot of pump parts too

If you get in a bind I have a aqua c skimmer you can borrow.

I ended up finding what I needed at Sea Side Aquatics in California. All I can say about them is WOW!! I ordered my parts around 11pm Thursday and got an immediate response back from them. They had my stuff out the door the next day and I received them Monday morning. For starters they were sympathetic to my situation and shipped everything Priority mail, no extra charge. Then they threw in extras at no additional charge. I absolutely could not believe how outstanding this experience was.

My hats off to the guys over there.
