I just got a used Bubble Magus NAC6 the other day and have a few questions about setting it up the correct way.
As of now, I think I have two minor problems...
First the output drain keeps slipping out of the skimmer during normal operation...see blue arrow on output tube/pipe. I cant figure out how you are supposed to get these things to stay in their little slot or whatever. What am i missing here?

Secondly, I had to replace the original pump because the old one broke. The replacement pump came with a slightly taller/longer "outlet screw" according to the product sheet I found online. Mine is about an inch longer than the original (which I didn't get with the skimmer). It doesn't leave a lot of clearance between that and the top of the "leading box" which has all the holes in it.
I'm wondering if this is going to cause any operational issues with the skimmer. Overall it does not seem to be producing as much as my previous skimmer (Coralife Super Skimmer 65). I am wondering if this is the reason. In the images see the blue arrow for the piece I'm referencing.

Thanks in advance!
